Getting in to the Groove

5+ weeks since the hysterectomy and finally, it’s time to hit it! I have been anxious for this day to arrive and this week it’s here. Time to get serious.  I have 313 days, and 44 weeks to prep for the 70.3 Ironman. Seems like a long time, but I have a feeling it’s going to FLY by. Starting out slow this week. I have been having a good week stretch without pain, soreness and overall feeling great, but I’d hate to have  a set back by pushing to hard to fast. Figure I’ll test the waters this week with the swim, bike and run and 2 weight sessions. With a follow up appt on Wednesday, I’ll have some “news” to report to the doctor.  Love this quote.

I have to dig down every day and find motivation to DO THIS!! It’s more than just “working out.” It’s finding balance in my life, work and fitting the pieces together. That will be a never ending battle!
